Advertising sucks my sphincter. I have grown to hate it... and it's too late to change my mind. Just 3 more classes and I'm out.

Our ADV program is a tad bit overrated if you ask me.

Why I am so Uninteresting

My undergrad degree was in materials science engineering.

I'm now a law student, but we don't have majors. My course streams are in intellectual property and sports law.

how many law classes did you take while you were an undergrad?

Ugh. Doing a Legal Studies Minor at a Tech School

I went to a tech school, so we had a rather limited pre-law course selection. To get the legal studies minor you had to take all 5 of the school's wierd plate of law classes:

Intro to Computer Law; Telecommunications and the Law; Law, Technology and Politics; Legal Practice; and Pre-Law Seminar (which translates to a waste of three hours).

These clases helped. I guess. But helped zero with my first year coursework. They're only now starting to help since I'm taking tech law classes now.

My suggestion is not to overdo it on the law classes in undergrad. Crap like legal practice and pre-law seminar were utterly useless. I've heard that biz law classes and crim law classes in undergrad aren't very indicative of how they are in law school but that media law classes are pretty indicative of the law school version.

You'll have plenty of time to take law classes if you are going to law school, so unless you have the lamest major in the free world (like me) don't overkill on pre-law courses.

English, minor/focus in creative writing. Possible journalism double, but I doubt it. I have no direction, at any rate, although I think I want to teach high school English and/or write for a music publication.
