Should i let my labret piercing grow in?
 

I took it out the day before yesterday....poked the hole through again yesterday...if i don't put it in tonight, it'll be permanently closed :(

I really like having it, and i like the way it looks, but it's been making my lower gums recede. :(
Is looking like a badass worth it?

What gauge is your labret stud? I had a 16 in, and it was hitting my gums and so I put a 14 in and I don't have a problem anymore. Maybe if you put in a bigger stud it'll stop. You could try that.

it is a 14 ... i used ot have a 16..... i was thinking of maybe going to an 18 ?? seeing if the smaller helps

i punched it through and put it in for now....
if my gums aren't bleeding in the next few days i'll consider ikeeping it

put some of that orthodontic wax on the back of the stud...that's what i do.
