i've only heard Faces In Disguise, but i really, really like it.

seven and um, 8 are my favorite songs. oh and in circles.

jeremy enigk's album return of the frog queen is really pretty and worth picking up as well - dl explain.

i like this band. I don't think all their stuff is golden, but i like most.

rising tide and the pink album are my favs.

Because of the way they progressed, probably the best way to familiarize yourself with them would be chronologically. I think the earlier stuff, like Diary, is the best. Anything else I could say has already been said in this thread.

Download all of Diary. Listen in correct order. You will be in awe.

How It Feels to Be Something On is far and away their best album. Get it. And then get Diary, I guess; I don't think it's that great but a lot of people think it's their best (as you can tell).

I don't think they ever put out a bad album but I agree with the majority, Diary is definitely a good place to start.

i am very fond of the rising tide myself, they put on a good show too.
