sunny day real estate
learn me some about this band.
|
try diary. i'd say how it feels to be something on is their best, but probably not the best introduction.
if you're the downloading type: circles grendel shadows 100 million the ocean |
i've only heard Faces In Disguise, but i really, really like it.
|
seven and um, 8 are my favorite songs. oh and in circles.
jeremy enigk's album return of the frog queen is really pretty and worth picking up as well - dl explain. |
i like this band. I don't think all their stuff is golden, but i like most.
rising tide and the pink album are my favs. |
Because of the way they progressed, probably the best way to familiarize yourself with them would be chronologically. I think the earlier stuff, like Diary, is the best. Anything else I could say has already been said in this thread.
|
Download all of Diary. Listen in correct order. You will be in awe.
|
How It Feels to Be Something On is far and away their best album. Get it. And then get Diary, I guess; I don't think it's that great but a lot of people think it's their best (as you can tell).
|
I don't think they ever put out a bad album but I agree with the majority, Diary is definitely a good place to start.
