I got a gift prepaid credit card from my work as a safety bonus so i went a little overboard at Amazon because I've been wanting them forever and I can't find any of 'em at any of the dozen local record stores here.:(

Ride - Nowhere (remaster, added tracks)

Ride - Smile (remaster)
MBV - Isn't Anything
MBV - Glider E.P.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - S/T E.P.

At the used CD store I got:

Depeche Mode - Black Celebration
Big Head Todd and the Monsters - Riviera

Madonna - Immaculate Collection on vinyl in Mint shape (for the wife) only $6

And off Ebay I bought:

damn homey. i never buy CDs anymore b/c i'm so broke.
but you know who tech nine is? wow. they're from kansas city and i didn't know they had reached out to CA already. they came into my work once all rolling and shit. one of them gave me a breathmint, that was nice of him.

D. 07-26-2003 03:25 AM

tech n9ne's "anghellic" was way better than "absolute power"

if he would combine the best tracks from those two albums and spend more time making his songs better, while shortening his albums to at the most 14 songs, i think he'd have something there.

Nothing/everything 07-26-2003 01:20 PM

i was in an exploding hearts tribute mood. i already had the album on cd, bought it on vinyl, as well as the modern kicks 7" (which is very nice indeed)
