representative democracy
it is absolutely ridiculous that netphoria is an apointative oligarchy. that people pakula basically randomly selects get to make up the most ridiculous, half-assed rules and actually get to enforce them. apparently the beauty that is robert frost is at great peril in existence in my sig because this moron andrew pakula decided to give certain powers has an inflated sense of his powers. if mods are given the right to make laws then they should be fucking elected by the people. i don't live in an oligarchy in real life, and there's no reason netphoria should be any different.

who pays the server bills, you or pakula

i don't care if it's a message board. it's a violation of my right of self-determination. it's my fucking sig and it's not hurting anyone. i've never used it in a spamming manner. i generally post it in my own threads, so it's not really much of a distraction anyways since they're in my thread and the only person i'd be offending is myself. it shouldn't be such a big deal.

I completely agree with Suze. There are some serious abuses of power here. Not that this will change anything, i just think it needs to be pointed out more.

my conclusion? stop calling me stupid when really you're the stupid one. there really is nothing worse than a dumb person who goes around calling other people dumb when really he's just too stupid to get what they're saying. it's like me walking up to a french person and going 'wow that made no sense. you are so dumb' |

http://www.indiana.edu/~alumni/magta...ages/life1.jpg So was I once myself a swinger of birches. And so I dream of going back to be. It's when I'm weary of considerations, And life is too much like a pathless wood Where your face burns and tickles with the cobwebs Broken across it, and one eye is weeping From a twig's having lashed across it open. I'd like to get away from earth awhile And then come back to it and begin over. May no fate willfully misunderstand me And half grant what I wish and snatch me away Not to return. Earth's the right place for love: I don't know where it's likely to go better. I'd like to go by climbing a birch tree And climb black branches up a snow-white trunk Toward heaven, till the tree could bear no more, But dipped its top and set me down again. That would be good both going and coming back. One could do worse than be a swinger of birches. like i post that in my post and they can't delete it because there's no reason to. well the purpose of my sig is to just save it somewhere so instead of actually going through the process of posting it all i have to do is click a button. it's like a macro or something. and the fact that there's some retarded limit on what i'm allowed to save to this little file, fo rno fucking reason, it's just ridiculous. if i can post more than 4 lines of text in my actual thread then why not in my sig? the focus shouldn't be on length of sig but on the act of spam or trolling. seriously. it's just a dumb law. |
