Netphoria Message Board - my friend left today

she's one of my best friends, she knows me better than anyone. she's the only person I ever fight with and we'll be at eachother's throats, storming out of work yelling "FINE!" but the next day we'll always give eachother a huge smile when we see eachother and say "hey grrrrll!" because it's never anything big that we fight about. we always seem to get ourselves into SOMETHING. we have a million inside jokes and have had more great memories to count, starting freshman year when she tried to pluck hair from my knees in art class.

today she left to go backpacking in europe all summer. she's coming home three days before I leave for college. we're not going to have our long nights in davis being high and lost on campus, its not going to be the same when i come home, everythings changing and i dont want her to leave. she came into work today to say goodbye to everyone (we work together) i'm not a hugger or an sentamentalist so i just said bye but when she walked out i got sooo sad and went out to hug her and started to cry. i want her to come home. she'll land in lisbon in a few hours.
