I'm never having pets (my child died of SIDS!)
Summer started out pretty normal. I liked computer camp at first. I learned burning CDs and was going to make a homepage and other cool stuff in week 3, but the lights wouldn't even go on. Insted we played soccer every day until camp was over. At home we had big blackouts, too. It was hot inside because of no AC, so we played Fighting Force 2 and Final Fantasy 9 outside in the yard and we were the characters. I learned warm soda cans make awesome grenades when the fridge doesn't work. They totally explode. Greg is not back in school yet but his eye will be better soon.
In August Dad stopped going to work. He used to work for a tech company, but he said his whole office was taking a summer vacation, too. We were going to go to the beach but then gas was like six bucks a gallin so insted we made fires out back and cooked hot dogs. On July 4 Dad showed me how hot coals make cheap fireworks when you throw them in the air. It was sad when the Robertsons' house burned down, but they were not hurt. They live in our backyard now. There nice, except Tina (12), who is gross.
One night Dad got some old books from his office and put them on the fire. He said they were from business school and that this was how useful they were. I said I wanted to go to business school because that's where you learn to make cool fires. Mom thought that was pretty funny, but not Dad. This one time my Dad and Mr. Robertson came home with something they called "neighborhood chicken," but it had four drumsticks insted of just two! It tasted pretty good. Anyways, I hope the power will roll back on soon because PlayStation has some awesome new games coming out. The end.
