I don't have any good quality pics of any of them, but here they are anyways (but yeah, they look much better in person than they do in the pics) (they are also all really small...I should do like the tattoo artists do and put a quater next to the tattoo and then take a pic so you can see how small some of them are)...

left side of lower back (right below the waist line)

right side of back (in a place where it can't be seen even when wearing shirts with a really low back, but still high enough that can't be seen below belly-baring tops)

hip and stomach (obviously)

(really really really bad pic...don't know what is going on with the lighting and why it is making everything look so bad in this pic...but, you can get the general idea of what the tattoo looks like)

I didn't know you were so heavily inked. I like this one the best. How big is it?

It's about 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.

Ghetto_Squirrel 06-05-2003 12:53 AM

I think maybe that has inspired me to get the entire set of lyrics to Siamese Dream scrawled across my back.

I have a black outline of a crescent moon on the small of my back.

Junebug 06-05-2003 03:29 AM

I saw this guy at taco bell one day and he had a big star on his elbow with the word "texas" in each space between the prongs in the stars or whatever (texas is the Lone Star State heh). Now that's state pride :D

I don't have any pictures of mine. I keep meaning to take some. Niki and BlueStar, I'm so envious. :D

I've got a green four-leaf clover on the outside of my left ankle, that I got the night I graduated highschool.

A black outline of the SP heart (looks fairly identical to YeehaJamesIha's) on the outside of my right ankle, that I got in Chicago when I went for the final shows.

On my right hip is one I got in memorium of a good friend who died last summer. It's the Kanji symbol for "love" in black, intertwined with the first letter of his name (B) in his handwriting, in blue.

I'm hoping to get another one in a couple weeks, while I'm in Greece. I've got a Greek friend looking up good tattoo studios in Athens for me, so hopefully that'll work out.

I'm thinking of getting my next one done on my wrist...Is it really painful? Not that that's really an issue, but still. Will most artists do it there? It's right over that huge vein that's so close to the surface...

StarlaZero 06-05-2003 12:40 PM

on my left ankle:

on my back (the moon and stars from the tonite page in the MCIS booklet, with 5 stars instead of 7...and yes, it is backwards...but oh well...and this is right after i got it, so it's not a good pic):

you have two "http://"s in your image sources. So they aren't showing.

I don't have any at the moment, I would LOVE to get a whole sleeve done, I've had some pretty great ideas, but I wouldn't want to have to deal with wearing long sleeves all the damn time.

My sorta almost to be boyfriend person is a beginning tattoo artist, and he's really fucking good, so I may have him do some for me.

The only thing is, I'm too picky, so I'm not 100% about any of them that I want.

That's a good way to be. You're going to have it for the rest of your life, so be as picky as you can. Don't get anything done until you're incredibly sure it's exactly what you want.

fuck tattoos.

tattoos are something you do to piss off your parents or look tough/cool.

it doesn't make you cool. Everyone gets them damn things now, it makes you fit in to the crowd. it's dumb.

if someone wants to impress me don't inject ink through a needle, peel all the skin of your arm.

I didn't think it was all that painful (my hip hurt A LOT more). Of course, my wrist tattoos are also really really small. It doesn't matter that it is near or over the vein...according to my tattoo artist, since the tattoo needle only goes through the first 4 layers of skin, it won't harm the vein at all.

Yeah, if you just walk in and take it out of a book. Mine actually means a lot to me, it stands for how much I love playing the violin and how much I love music in general. It wasn't to look cool, my parent's didn't care, and no one can even see it.

Nimrod's Son 06-05-2003 01:23 PM

I wonder how many of you are going to regret them in 10 years.

Of course here comes the onslaught of "not me!" but then again, everyone says that.
