The uni sent me a time table for my resit, but they havent told what it is or anything :(

i can't belive i have a resit :(

I hope it's not the drawing class.I hate being in Uni the quicker i get my life sorted out the better.

I failed an exam and i have to resist it : that is what they get called here.

And we only have to resit the exam , if we fail again we have either make sure we get enough credits on the other exams , or retake the year.

Yeah. It's ridiculous. If you fail your exams here, you get a second chance to take them later in the summer.

Everybody whines about how they're going to fail, and they'll have to come back and try again in August. Aww.

Then again, since your exam score is pretty much your entire grade, it kind of makes sense.

Of course, the penalty if you fail your exams is that you have to retake the year and - god forbid - this time around, you have to PAY for it! :eek:

Hiya, I'm Rebecca. :) I'm at Trinity, but just for the one year. Doing a study abroad thing. In fact...Friday'll be my last day, since that's my last exam. :(

Well, I mean, not :( about exams being over. (More like, Thank Fucking God, FINALLY.) But :( about having to go back to America in three weeks.

And nah, you shouldn't have to pay. Nobody should have to pay. I think the free education system is great. But we haven't got it in America - so we like to give the Irish kids crap, 'cause while they'll all out there staging Fees Protests over the indignity of possibly having to pay 3000 Euros a year for school...We're sitting here like, "Are you kidding? Do you know what we'd do to ONLY have to pay $3000 a year for college?? :eek:"

I've heard of Hurling...What's Shinty? Just a different name for it, or is it a different sport?

Yeah same thing although we play the ball on the ground more, but almost the same game
