I had a Sociology prof last year who refused to get e-mail or use the internet, because he thought the internet was "anti-social space". It was the most inconvenient and obnoxious fucking thing.

And then the Department switched over to e-mail as its official method of correspondance, in order to save paper, and forced him to get an e-mail address, and he put up a big stink about it.
