Help needed with english assignment...

For English, I have to write a short message about the subjects e-mail, availability of computers in school and the subject english.

It doesn't have to make much sense, as long as the english is correct. Could anyone help this dutch sucker, please?

the assignment

E-mail is easier and faster than the old-fashioned mail. For many people, it has taken over the task of the old-fashioned mail, almost completely. People like myself. Some years ago, I would have written a letter (or typed it) to a friend, to tell him how I'm doing, but nowadays I always send e-mails. I find it easier to give my e-mail address than to give my home address, and I guess that goes for other people as well. That's the reason I have tons of e-mail addresses from friends and family to all kinds of acquaintances. If you want tell something to one of those, e-mail is the easiest way. Although, some people seem to think it's very impersonal and these people prefer writing letters over composing an e-mail. I can understand those sentiments, though I don't share them.

The only way to write e-mail for me, is to write one in school, since I don't have internet at home. To do so, first off, I have to obtain a computer. There are very many computers in school, but it's usual that they're all occupied. I first must have walked through big parts of school before eventually having found one, in the busy hours.

There ya go. I could've made it sound a little more natural, but I would've had to entirely rearrange some of your sentence structure and stuff - so I just fixed some punctuation and the bits that sounded the most awkward. Hope that helps. :)

What are “the big parts of school”? Are you talking about rooms that are larger? Do you mean you have to walk through a lot of different rooms? Do you have to walk across the school? I’m confused on that part. How about “Durring busy hours I have to walk across the school and check various large rooms before I find a computer that is available.”
