What did/will YOU do today?
 

i had a class from 8:30 - noon. it's the most dreded 3 and a half hours of my whole week. thank god i only have that class one more time.

i then came home and lied down on my bed and smoked some pot and watched tv.

some time later my friend brian came over and we smoked some pot.

then ninja turtle came over after he got out of work and we went and played basketball at his house.

then i came home and took a shower.

i don't know what i'm doing tonight.

i went to like 15 garage sales today and got some hot shit. 10 really good novels for 2 bucks, 3 cds, a hamburger, a really big cheesy framed kids drawing of tanks on a battle field, and 2 bikes!
i got one plain mountain-bike style bike for 5 bucks, and this amazing old cruiser for 20. the cruiser looks like this:

woke up, took bath, appraiser came to apt. to appraise property, ate lunch, read more of Fateless for my class, fell asleep, boyfriend called an woke me up, fell asleep again, got ready to go see Finding Nemo, my period made me feel more like crap, so i stayed home, waiting for Trading Spaces to start at 8 and for boyfriend to come back from movies, adn mighell just called me and im gonna wait and see if were gonna hang out and stuff

yeah pretty good. a little but rusty but nothing enough to harm the operation of the cycle. it adds character. i got a bell too. one of those circle ones that you whip up. i wanted to get a horn. one of those really big ones you squeeze. i dont have a lock yet so i cant ride it really anywhere which just poops all over my party ifyouknowwatimsayn

I remember I got a bike designed like that. it was a slime green Schwinn (sp?). my mom got it for me for my 12th birthday. I secretly hated it and all of my friends made fun of me because my bike wasn't cool :(

Oh! I woke up around 9. I went to Target and got my little sister a purple short set and a tank top for when she she comes to see me in July (she's 7). Then I went to the grocery store. I made breakfast for Mike when he woke up arund 1 or so. An omlette, hashbrowns and an english muffin. Aren't I sweet?

Then I cleaned the kitchen, batroom, and I cleaned the carpet in the livingroom. And I would do laundry but fuck it, that's enough. It's saturday.

We're going to watch Vulgar and have dinner quite a while from now.

today was the laziest day of my life. i just laid around the house all by myself. played some guitar. party tonite, or the bar. most likely party then the bar.

i woke up at 7am and ate a bag of mushrooms
at 9:30 i went to the tire shop and fixed a flat
at 10:30 i went to k-mart and bought a cherry air freshner thing
at 11:30 i picked up sickbadthing and went to brewvies and watched better luck tomorrow, which was okay. i had 2 pitchers of beer. sbt didn't have any, because his liver might explode.
at 3:30 i drove my car into a elementary school black top and tried to run over some kids
at 4:30 i hosed off all the kiddy mess from my hood.
at 5:30 i made some bbq.
at 6:00, i started to watch the real world, and masturbate
at 6:13 i made this post.

My alarm went off at 7am & not even a second went by before my bedroom door opened & my boyfriend waltzed right into my room, an entire hour before we were supposed to leave to go yard sale-ing. Then we napped until our friend called about a half hour later, then 20 minutes after the call we got up & left.

Went to some yard sales but they mostly were awful.
Went back to said friend's house to eat breakfast around 9:30am
Woke his sister up to see if she wanted to go look at kittens at the animal shelter with me & my boyfriend
Drove there & found out it's closed on Sat/Sunday
Drove to Wal-Mart to buy chocolate
Went back to friend's house & chit chatted until half past 10
My boyfriend drove me home & we lounged in my room until quarter after 11, then he had to leave for work
I ate leftover food from the Olive Garden, puttered around & read some more of the FAQ for SaGa Frontier
Made a font out of my cursive typewriter
Watched the Street Fighter movie
Played SaGa Frontier from about 3 until 5:30
Same friend called at 5, wants to hang out, told him I'd call him back in an hour
Now I'm here.

Hmm. I don't know what I'm doing tonight.
But I bet it involves lots of video games.

What a lame existence.

Let' see. I got up at 10 and went to work at 10.30. It's the second day of Finding Nemo so we were hella busy. My come-two-days ago ex-girlfriend was working box office so I pretended not to look at her all day. Nelson, a coworker of mine, brought in his guitar and played it in the lobby (he was on door(tearing tickets)). On my break I drove with that guy Nelson to Berkeley to pick up some free burritos. I just got home from work and took a shower, played with my litle sister, and ate a scone.
Now I'm listening to Grandaddy and waiting for Charlotte to come pick me up so we can possibly go see Bend it Like Beckham. Or we might just hang out, probably play frisbee. And then, at eleven or so we're going to see the Big Lebowski at the Albany. After that we'll probably buy some Slurpees and fall asleep watching Family Guy on DVD in Charlotte's room. I might kiss her. Um. Whatever.

its scary how early you gotta get up to go to garage sales. if your not out by like 9 geezer scavangers have allready salvaged every garage sale in sight. theyre pros at it too, you should see them work. i was up at 8am biking around and you could spot the garage sales 2 blocks away because of all the cadillacs and huge fords parked everywhere. theyre viscious bargainers too

Dude, if I had a penny for every geezer I saw driving an SUV down the street with a cup of coffee & box of donuts I would have a lot of pennies. And I mean a LOT. Also the ones that actually put ON the yardsales must be the same ones who pick everything over, 'cause they're tough! There's no haggling with them.

Nothing. Like, literally nothing.

I fucked around on the Internet, read part of a book that I'm not even reading for any good (read: academic - as I have finals in three days that I haven't studied for) reason, ate some leftovers and watched some TV. All day. I didn't even shower.

I did go stand outside for an hour in my pajamas and slippers waiting for someone to come turn the goddamned fire alarm off, because some guy on another floor had set his toaster on fire. Oh, and I made a cake. But it wasn't even a good cake. In fact, unless one of my roommates is really hungry, I'll probably throw it out.

And yet, somehow, reading this thread has made me feel a lot better about what a complete waste of space I was today. Thanks Netphoria!

some of them are such assholes about it too. ive seen some of them charge like 50 bucks for a shitty bike or 5 dollars a book. when you try and butter their bread and bargain they talk to you like your blind and couldnt see the price tag and restate the price a zillion times. this week i got a stack of wicked novels and this one old lady that was pissed i got them instead of her followed me and my friend around trying to get them from us. she followed us to at least 5 garage sales on her bike. WHORE
