I'm sorry. :( If anyone understands period pain, I do.

Are you on the pill? Because it actually helps a lot.

twilightfadez 05-31-2003 04:55 PM

it made me really sick, that's why i stopped taking it

there's different kinds of pills, though, some have less hormones and stuff... maybe you could ask your doctor if there's another kind you can try. take a hot bath, those fix everything.

um no. you have constant cramping for a few days. sometimes the pain is so severe you can't sit or stand. the cramping is in your lower back AND your uterus/abdomen. your boobs are sore, too. so sore you can't lay on your stomach.
some people have it worse than others.

sleeper 05-31-2003 07:05 PM

why havent i ever seen a girl complain of them or be cringing in pain or whatever? if a guy was having pains like that hed let the world know

i hope rhino reads this.... ha! because girls get them every single month from the time they're 10-14 or whatever. they either get used to them, accept them, or find things to minimize the pain. birth control is one of those things.
you should meet a girl with endometriosis. they have cramps like i described, only a hundred times worse.

twilightfadez 05-31-2003 07:13 PM

i was watching this show on TLC called Labor and something else...and of course the girls having babies, and i started crying co si get really sensitive when i have my period
and then i thought of you Niki, and then i cried for the girls
i dunno why
im extra sensitive today

Eve 05-31-2003 07:16 PM

lol. PRAY 4 ME!!
yeah i need to stop watching maternity ward on TLC. it's just the c-sections that freak me out. i know they're painless (the operation, not the recovery) but everytime i watch the scalpel slice through the layers of skin and muscle and the uterus... uuuuhhhhhh.

Yeah, i have a friend who has it. I feel bad for her. She had to have operations and she put on like 50 lbs...yikes. She just is in so much pain that she can't be active anymore :(

how did your mom go thru her labor? cos usually your labor goes along just like your mom did...so if she had a smooth labor chances are you will too :)

oh dear god, don't say that. with my brother, he was coming out with his face facing up, and then he got stuck and they had to pop her hip out of place (or something similar to that). they also had to make a HUGE L-shaped incision for her episiotomy. with me, the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck and everytime she'd have a contraction i'd stop breathing, i was born c-section.

however, i'm built like my grandma (mom's mom) and our pregnancies have been very similar so far. so hopefully i'll have labor like hers (she didn't even realize she was in labor and the babies came right out as soon as she got to the hospital).

jczeroman 05-31-2003 07:25 PM

i do not post here when my nuts itch, why do peopel feel the need to post about their period?

good i hope so to...*will pray for you*
my mom was the same way you describe your grandma, she was out of the hospital in like 1 hour

If they do a c-section don't cough. Your guts will fall out all over you lap and you will have your own sausage for dinner.

because you know not the pain of cramps......like being stabbed with a razor sharp knife.....and since i am anemic, the blood loss makes me really weak, and my boobs hurt a lot, and i get dizzy and all this stuff,....although i dont get the really bad cramps that i used to get years ago. so fucking bad that i literally would drop to the floor because of the pain, and cry and would feel like i was dying.

so then the answer is because we, me or the boys here don't know the pain?
