Has anyone here gotten a reduction?

Yeah. I'm thinking about going to the doctor and see what she thinks about it... I've been seriously thinking about it for a couple weeks now. Has anyone gone through with this?

jczeroman 05-30-2003 09:49 AM

obscured01 05-30-2003 10:01 AM

Well how big are they? Do they cause you back problems or something?

*avoids overwhelmingly strong temptation to ask for "pics plz?"*

twilightfadez 05-30-2003 10:14 AM

i know 2 girls that had them done...and they look fabulous and their back don't hurt anymore
i say go for it

Helena Handbasket 05-30-2003 10:16 AM

My mom did when I was about three. She says it's the best thing she ever did.

And, she's almost 45 and her boobs are still perkier than mine! Go for it!

obscured01 05-30-2003 10:24 AM

I'm 5'2, (36dd) and and they're totally unproportional to the rest of me, they're uncomfortable and usually sore, and always in the way. Blah.

It always baffles me why chicks want these... and get implants. I just think they're a pain in the ass.

Ha! That wouldn't be a deciding factor, but that would definately be a plus.

Human Replica Droid 05-30-2003 10:28 AM

I plan on doing it, I'm just not sure when.

lucky_13 05-30-2003 10:38 AM

i'm waiting to see if mine deflate any if i lose any more weight. so far i've been getting skinner and my boobs have stayed the same. i don't feel cursed by them since i don't have any pain or anything. i just think wearing clothes would be easier. if you're chubby i would diet before deciding to get the reduction sugery. for most girls they lose alot of weight from their chests.

yes, my friend had uneven boobs, and had one reduced, and then she lost weight... now she needs the other reduced to match...

Hmm. I've lost 50lbs in the last 6-10months or so... and I'm just about where I want to be. Although when I gained the weight, my cup size was still the same as what it was before I started gaining... all that changed was the width around. I've still got about 20-25lbs I'd like to loose, but yeah, I've been a dd since the beginning of high school before I ever gained any weight, after, and I still am now. I'd prefer to be about a c-cup... I doubt the 20lbs I've got to loose will make that drastic of a change... although, it would be niceif it did :)

I don't mean to scare you away, but from what I've heard it's a pretty nasty procedure, and it leaves lots of scars etc. I wouldn't go through with it unless you were really sure about what you want.

crescentfresh 05-30-2003 11:21 AM

I have 2 friends who went through the procedure, and they both said it was the best thing they ever did for themselves. One was Lilly - She had a tiny little lanky body but HUGE FUCKING BOOBS. They were sooooo huge. She was in physical pain, her back was always killing her. She got them reduced and she looks great and feels even better. And I had a coworker who also had back pain and had them reduced, and she felt tons better, too.

I'd say only do it for medical reasons. You know your boobs are too big if they're hurting your back, for God's sake.

Mariner 05-30-2003 11:26 AM

This may be a silly and totally uneducated question, apologies, but could you weight train and do other exercises to get all your back muscles to get good at supporting that weight? Do you lift weights already and it doesn't help? It seems like that would be a cheaper (depending on the health club, I guess) way to get rid of the pain at least...but then, if you just plain don't want boobs as big as they are, my question is moot. I dunno, you might want to question a few personal trainers/fitness 'experts'.

StillBecomingApart 05-30-2003 11:33 AM

Before doing it, can you made a pic of your boobs? :D

And then an after reduction one...

:)

Mr. Rhinoceros 05-30-2003 11:52 AM

You know, my feet hurt all the time because I have no arches. Should I cut off my feet?

My boobs are too big. My boobs are too small. My back hurts. My legs hurt. My head hurts. My stomach hurts. Boohoohoo. Girls cry so much.

Bras that actually fit work wonders. Chicks and sizing. I just don't get it.
