A kid from my school was killed in a drunk driving accident last night.
Holy shit.
I didn't know the kid at all....but you really feel it when you're at such a small school. Well I did, anyway. Can't speak for anyone else though. I got to school and talked to a couple friends for a while....I walked upstairs to put my stuff away and all that....and I came back down. And now that I think about it, it was strangely quiet.....I walked over to someone and saw that they were having some kind of intense conversation...so I just kind of backed away and went and sat next to a friend...and he didn't say anything to me about it. A couple minutes later, he tells someone else that the guy had died....and I thought he was joking. Soon after that, the hallway was filled with people just sobbing and it was just so fucking eerie. Another friend of mine came walking in, and not knowing what the hell was happening was just bouncing around and making loud jokes and such...she felt pretty bad once we let her know what happened... And I was completely fucking disgusted with the reactions of some people. One guy said 'I hate him. I'm glad he's dead.' And when there was an announcement made that all athletic events and practices were cancelled...people got all excited and let out cheers of joy. I mean, what the hell is that? It seemed as though they were glad someone had died because they didn't have to go to track practice or some shit. People piss me off. |
Did he have a better locker than you? You should totally grab it.

it's a great time to console another person, ya know? and then move in (i hope you realize this is a joke) seriously, though peopel do suck about stuff like that; it just goes to show that a lot of people really don't value human life at all; keep that in mind |
did they bring in counselors? hahaha what a waste of a job that is.

The only person I ever knew in grade school that died was my friend Tyson in 5th grade. The rest of them were bad people who always drove around drunk that I didn't really couldn't care less about. I know that sounds bad, but really. They brought it upon themselves and usually took innocent people down with them.
I don't know if the kid at your school was the drunk driver or not. But in any case, it can be pretty sad when you lose a classmate. |
That happened like 3 times during my years at highschool. and then one of my good friends was killed in a drunk driving accident a year after we graduated, it's always really sad. :(

And he was the passenger in the car, I believe. |
In college if your dormmate died, they gave you all A's for the semester.
Despite my repeated suggestions, he never killed himself and I had to earn my grades. |
