they called me like an hour after i emailed them. that's cool. most people don't even bother to contact you at all, ever.

because you know half the places throw it in the garbage.

yeah. but you shouldn't be afraid to contact them if they don't get back to you. that's how i got the 1st interview i went to last week. people just get busy and forget about shit, cuz it's not a big priority to them. it's rude, but it's not necessarily personal.

ha. hardly. i've mailed/emailed maybe 30/40 places and so far i've gotten 3 interviews. it's goddamn competitive, especially when they see that you go to a state school. which is why i beefed up my cover letter, saying "i have letters of recommendation from ___ and ____," which hopefully helps my case.

i need an internship and an apt. i want to get my own apt. now instead of a share, but to afford it i have to live in south brooklyn, down around coney island. and yeah. no one wants to rent to a student. it's gay.
