IT'S BOARDFORUM, ASSCUNT

MplsTaper 09-02-2020 01:54 PM

The heart began to putrify and then the body bloated
As our hair and teeth fell out we did our best to be devoted
But let's squeeze the maggots from our flesh like tiny poison pustules
Abandon all decorum
Boil us down to our essentials
We're all just carbon, water, starlight, oxygen and dreams
And the sun, the moon, the earth, the neighbours long to hear our screams
So if Bacchus is a friend to Love then take this cup of kindness
Just one sip, one chug, one kiss could cure us of our blindness
Hear my wanton whispers
My loud, intemperate plea
We've been down among the dead men, now you're coming up with me

The people need to see the contrast

LOL

How is it living in 2016?

Ok ok u r officially the smartest most data driven level headed motherfucker in the whole total thread or even on this whole god damn very important forumboard. Happy?

well you said you strongly disagree because Biden would look weak, which I thought meant you thought debates are usually important to shifting people's opinions/votes and I do generally like to at least reference when an opinion I have is based on stats

Not trying to suggest it will necessarily affect the outcome of the election but i still don’t think biden should skip the debates. Go in there and show the people that this clown of a joke of a piece of shit can be beaten. Get in there and overcome. It’s a battle. Don’t forfeit the fucken battle

These are emotional appeals yes but i am allowed to have emotions u know and also to be clear i am utterly uninterested in engaging u about polling data

Ultimately ok yes i am aware that the biden should skip the debates argument is a rather popular sentiment that’s been circulating in different spheres of the mediascape, so like have fun repeating it on here, carry on

redbreegull 09-02-2020 02:16 PM

my argument I guess is really that it doesn't matter.

also would it be cool to see joe biden school trump like he did to paul ryan in 2012? yes. will it happen against donald trump in 2020? you decide

RUN TO ME, whether agree or disagree, is a true board artist, and those are very hard to come by. I give 4/3 of all my rep to him, while running to him, naked.

ryan's trying to disconnect and move away from his message now (his argument all along was that it doesnt matter, so just chill, okay?)

something deep inside me (took) was telling that y s e m would have something to say about this! I would have never guessed it was as brutal as a gif though

redbreegull 09-02-2020 03:13 PM

this is my first prediction. I'll probably do another one next month.

The election comes down to 4 states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida.

Florida – Biden has a slight lead in Florida right now, but it's well within the margin of error. Based on the fact that there is no other state which so consistently has had Democrats polling above Republicans only to lose over the past two decades, I'm giving Florida to Trump. However, if Biden were to win here, that would be very good for him because he could afford to lose some other battlegrounds.

Wisconsin and Michigan – Both polling above the margin of error in Biden's favor right now.

Pennsylvania – The Kingmaker. Given the above scenario, the election comes down to Pennsylvania, which currently has Biden up just 4%, right on the line of margin of error. I made this optimistic and gave PA to Biden, but my prediction is that the race will be close, and it will come down to this one state which is a tossup right now.

Of course there are more exotic ways Biden can win even if he loses both Florida and Pennsylvania; he could win multiple second tier battleground states which I all gave to Trump because they all voted for him last time (Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Iowa, and even the less likely Montana and Texas). I think this is improbable, but the most likely way this could happen with a PA loss is if Biden picks up North Carolina and Arizona.

edit: I gave 1 vote from Maine to Trump because it happened last time. this was inconsequential in any scenario I could think of except if Biden loses PA and FL, but wins Arizona and that vote from Maine, which would put him at 270.

redbreegull 09-02-2020 03:21 PM

which I guess means in that scenario the election could be a tie

redbreegull 09-02-2020 03:23 PM

can you imagine if we had President Biden and Vice President Trump

Hardly anyone. Later I’ll link to the 538 article about how few people there are who are sitting out cause of Biden

Didn't like seeing Run To Me copping it for Squish Squash's activity in this thread. That produced an involuntary suck of the teeth within and I'm suing you all for enamel degradation.

Also, I am not seeing any of the states that Kanye wins on that Electoral College map.

Gosh sorry just seems there’s enough people jumping down his throat to vote for biden, doesn’t seem like you all need any help?

He can vote for who he wants, i reckon. My god damn next door neighbors have a Trump flag in their yard so i am quite used to existing very near to folks with opinions that strike me as apocalyptically bad opinions

Do you live in an "Anarchist Jurisdiction"?

Quote:

President Trump on Wednesday approved a memo that the White House said is intended to begin restricting federal funding from going to certain Democratic-led cities that the administration determines to be “anarchist jurisdictions,” aiming to levy an extraordinary attack on political opponents just months ahead of the 2020 election.

In a five-page memo, the president directs the White House Office of Management and Budget to give guidance to federal agencies on restricting funding to cities that “defund” their police departments. The memo also directs the Justice Department within 14 days to come up with a list of localities that qualify as “anarchist jurisdictions” and post that list publicly. Trump has said there is a wide-ranging Democratic plot to defund police departments, although most prominent Democrats, including presidential nominee Joe Biden, have adamantly rejected this approach.

“My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones,” the president’s memo states. “It is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities.”
https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-po...unding-cities/

MyOneAndOnly 09-03-2020 12:35 PM

Local DC and Portland police departments already coordinate with Trump's ICE and DHS secret police.

The people causing violence in both cities are either Trump's secret police or Nazis that come into the citie (like Portland) to beat up people

Disco King 09-03-2020 01:11 PM

It's too bad both parties are exactly the same and use what are supposed to be independent state institutions as extensions of their electoral campaigns and to punish their political enemies.
