You have no idea what my experiences have been (and I don't know yours). I have 20k+ posts you can criticize and disagree with, but you have to question my gender.

One of the consistent arguments all TERFs make is that Trans women aren't real women because they lived part of their lives socialized under another gender. It doesn't matter how long it is. It will always not be enough.

This always leads to "trans women are actually men because they were socialized as men"

and from that..

"Trans women are dangerous because some men are predators and accepting trans women as women allows them to infiltrate female only spaces and co-op or attack women"

There's usually a caveat for trans men that's something like "Trans men are just butch women who are deluded by the promise of male privilege"... or some other version of this. The key being though that it's the fault of men that trans men are questioning their gender.

yo so el mejor eludes to and makes this first argument because she can't seem to let it go. If she wasn't a TERF she'd just call me a Karen. But she can't stop there, because her root argument isn't about me being a privileged white woman. It's about my gender identity.

Playing devil’s advocate here, I wouldn’t call Y S E M a Terf for her comment. She never said MOAO isn’t a woman (a TERF would say this), I think Y S E M meant that her experience was different than someone assigned female at birth, which is true.

Ok like, I can see this point you’re trying to make *sort of,* but as a cishet you’ve had different kinds of privileges too. As a white male homo who “passed” or whatever for so long I was afforded tons of privilege, and I recognize that and do my best to understand what people who aren’t white men experience (while also recognizing I’ll never get it fully!) but holy shit can I begin to tell you about the sort of mental anguish and trauma that can cause?
