kinda makes me feel worse sometimes the sweet spot is somewhere between "want to die" and "bored and glum" |
Yeah im confused about the terminology of “care enough” and “work on” from Dk’s post
Suggests to me you’re still thinking of the creative act as something you’re gonna “get something out of,” like maybe if the product is found to be “good enough” Like, forget all that shit Grab your dumb guitar and stop trying to write a song that’s “good.” Just make noises. Make the fucken noises that the pain makes in your veins, that’s what im suggesting |
Like, you “cared enough” to log onto netphoria and make a post about how you don’t care enough to vent thru a different medium
The post was your art for today, good job Next time, try the guitar, maybe, that’s all im saying, gosh! |

>"lol, why don't depressed people just do things they're interested in? is it because it won't make them rich and famous?" You're not old enough to have such baby-boomer logic on mental illness. This "I'm not like other millennials, lol" stchick is the equivalent of middle-school kids who comment on Led Zeppelin YouTube videos with "I'm 12 and I listen to this everybody else at my school likes fake garbage music like Drake and Lady Gaga." |

I don't know anything about your relationship, but given how short it was, and the fact that your one criterion seemed to be finding a qt3.14 goth girl, my suspicion is that it was the latter. |
I mean, tfwnoso is a valid feel, so I'm not dismissing it. People like the feeling of being wanted and loved. But I mean, if you have empirical evidence that this kind of thing can happen for you, you then have reason to believe that you will eventually meet another person who is at least as suited to you as the previous person.
You don't even have to find them now or right away. Just know that it will probably happen. The "it'll happen for you eventually" advice is less bullshit when there exists historical evidence that somebody is capable of attaining relationships. |
I have no idea
the idea of another gf sounds completely unappealing if anything I want to party but just sitting here in the moment I feel completely drained like absolutely nothing will make me happy ever again |
it is one thing to believe life has no meaning
and quite another to feel it, is what I'm sayin like you can't see why the game is worth the candle anymore |

noyen was right about elph and his rich boy self-pity. all talk, no walk. just wanting attention. |

Yeah in your case youre talking depression right? so probably that’s a little differnt than this acute agony of romantic heartbreak thing of elph Totally i feel u on being depressed robbing u ability to “work on” something creative, but, again, that’s not the kinda activity i was recommending for elph In this thread about rebirthing elph |
i thought elph works at family dollar or something

Is it possible to be both wealthy and of military stock?
Let's assume for the sake of argument that we're not referring to generals—wonderful generals—or anybody of such lofty standing. |
i like when people are referred to in animal terms like stock and pedigree. it's a shame it isn't done regularly.
|
humans are just animals with better PR
|
we think we miss people, but really we just miss the feeling of not needing to put pants on when they enter the room.
it's easy to conflate those things |
