F yeah
You’re doing it! What will u do to celebrate? Are u doing like rewards for yourself along the way? |
No rewards not really, no. I got some new clothes but am quickly realizing the futility in getting more than a few things at once. I've lost 3 pants sizes (and they're starting to get huge) and 2 shirt sizes, 2 underwear sizes. even my shoes fit better.
I still can't eat grains or fruit, I might be able to in a few months. That will be a good reward. |
Duck yeah, quack quack!
|
I'm really proud of you! You're fucking killing it, Reprise!
|
I was on track to stay under my calories today, but then I got too lazy to cook because the fish was still frozen, and even though I could easily cook it from frozen, I wouldn't be able to make the exact recipe that I wanted to make that called for fresh or thawed fish. So I ordered in and had a huge cheat meal.
Honestly, it wasn't even that good. Not delicious enough to justify the calories. |
I'm in the 800-1000 cal range but of course it's easy for me. However I am starting to get hungry again which sucks a lot, plus I can eat a lot more than before. Not a lot compared to most people, of course... but 3-4oz of meat or whatever, which is way more than before. I was eating a lot of protein bars/chips/etc to get my protein in but I think I need to focus more on calories now. I can't eat a lot but I can eat often which I really need to not get in the habit of doing.
I drink coffee on weekends which I'm not supposed to do, and I get this low cal/lowfat/low sugar ice cream sometimes (320 cal a pint) which is definitely cheating (20g sugar in the whole thing, most is supposed to be 5 per meal) but I'm not eating any chips/candy/baked good/etc. But I need to not get in a snacking habit and I've been failing at that. Which will be a problem in the future if I don't figure this shit out now. But I'm talking to my therapist about it. |
also thanks guys. i lost a whole person!
|
I'm sure you and your medical professionals know which eating habits work for you better than I would know, but I thought it might be worth pointing out that some people actually have more success snacking throughout the day. I guess eating smaller portions more often keeps them from ever going too hungry, or maybe it has something to do with keeping the blood sugar more consistent so that they get fewer cravings or something. I wonder if you feeling like eating often means you could try to make that habit work in your favour by eating small portions often, so that you feel less like you're fighting your body?
For me, fewer meals definitely helps me, because it's hard to get myself to stop eating once I start. If I'm eating more often, I will end up eating more overall. Also, one snack I've come to be fond of is that low-cal strawberry Jell-O that's, like, five calories a container. And it tastes just like regular Jell-O, although maybe slightly less firm. |
things with sugar substitutes in them wreak total havoc on my stomach. it's a shame.
|
Yeah, there's some evidence that some sugar substitutes negatively impact your gut flora, I think.
I noticed that I'll feel a bit queasy if I have aspertame-products after taking my meds and having an otherwise empty stomach. Other than that, I've had no negative reactions to sugar substitutes. |

Lol, "Solara" is currently playing at the gym.

I wonder if having tea or non-calorie things with some sodium in them will also help you feel satiated. |
Quote:
At 6x9 reps/week, with 11 days intervals, seems ive listened to solara more than god probably by now |
What the fuck, it's literally playing again. The second time in, like, an hour.
I wish I were joking. |

If these trends continue, reprise will become a being of zero mass by 2020.
Seriously though good work, reprise. It’s great you’re sharing this and I hope it’s making you more confident too. |
thanks guys!
i would say it's making me more confident, but mostly i'm no longer thinking of how big my body is all the time. of course i'm really invested in losing weight and what/how much i'm eating, but man just having to navigate the world at 400+lbs is terrible, physically and mentally |
