Definitely. My understanding is that the magnitude of her financial reward is much larger than his, but I could well be wrong.

In my mind that’s part of what makes her a good politician. The heart feeds itself first, guise.

that'd be all well and good but she lost to Donald Trump

here's 90 that passed on a spreadsheet

just so you know I didn't make the term up or something

roll call amendment king to be fair

https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...t-king-1995-2/

nothing as sexy as the Consumer Financial Protection Agency I suppose, but kinda puts into perspective this idea that the former political scientist is just a grand-stander

yes...well no the first time around she actually convinced Bill to Veto it

then when she became a senator herself...

it's Warren's criticism "the impact of money" I'm asking if you think it's fair

TuralyonW3 02-17-2019 11:59 PM

This primary could be a real shitshow

That link sort of seems to undermine your point a little?

And I just don’t want to talk about Clinton anymore. If we relitigate 2016 during this process we will all die.

I think we need a constitutional amendment to undo citizens united. Won’t happen any time soon. But I don’t think we disagree on this issue.

Elphenor 02-19-2019 05:30 AM

I think Kamala Harris is a good candidate

Elphenor 02-19-2019 05:38 AM

Tulsi Gabbard's comments on torture and her previous homophobia makes her really difficult to support

Elphenor 02-19-2019 10:00 AM

oh Bernie is running now

Among other things

buzzard 02-19-2019 12:15 PM

What, roughly, is a typical number of Democrat candidates?

MplsTaper 02-19-2019 01:27 PM

Good question, here's 2016 and 2020. Seems to be around a dozen.

Edit: Wikipedia has a button near the upper right hand corner that goes all the way back to 1912. Not as many folks running for the nomination back then.

If you think this is disqualifying then great but I don’t want everything reduced to a sound bite about how everyone but Bernie is impure. Especially when Bernie’s statements accompanying his rollout seem pretty racist and sexist and tone deaf.

vixnix 02-19-2019 05:08 PM

Ber-nie! Ber-nie! Ber-nie!!!

FEEL THE BERN!!!

FEEL THE BERN!!!!!!!!

yo soy el mejor 02-19-2019 08:44 PM

I don't get that vibe at all

I sort of understood it in 2016 with the BLM fiasco

Run To Me 02-19-2019 11:16 PM

Are there any candidates that are good or great and excellent and very loud, maybe the best and loudest ever of all time? Any where people are saying, many people are talking about how creative they are with the insults and diminutive nicknames? Do the men have big hands/penises and how are the thighmeats of the ladies? Lookin for a candidate with larger than life nigh cartoonish antics that will entertain me nonstop with a sort of feverdream sensation of “this can’t really be happening right” like the dreams i have most nights of careening off the freeway at top speed toward the tops of the trees waiting to catch me in the comforting silent gloom of the gulch below

I don't really think it would be "disqualifying," I'd literally support any Democratic nominee against any Republican nominee in any situation short of realignment.

Also, yeah, looks like I was wrong about Harris making those comments, and, according to her, she was unaware the Attorney General's office was arguing for It's continuation in court.

I don't think Sanders, or anyone, is pure. I think everyone is worthy of criticism and, regardless of who wins, should be held accountable so that people know what they are dealing with. You can support and even vote for somebody without overlooking their flaws.

FoolofaTook 02-20-2019 01:20 PM

Jesus is pure.

Boris is pure.

Chris Johnson is pure.

Check yourself.

"old and white, male" is not the best reason to overlook a very strong candidate imo

it'd be the first Jewish president how about that

plus wtf he was still old as dirt when you were a self-proclaimed Bernie Bro

I was idealistic before Trump

Elphenor 02-20-2019 04:02 PM

I became an anarchist

redbreegull 02-20-2019 04:09 PM

bottom line is one of these folks is gonna be the nominee, and whoever it is is going to have some baggage and not be ideologically pure enough for whatever segment of the electorate

however anyone who does not cast a vote for this person, regardless of who it winds up being, is an abject moral failure, a cognitively stunted troglodyte, and should be drug out into the street at the crack of dawn and shot

buzzard 02-20-2019 04:12 PM

Hillary was meant to hack all those voting machines and win before immediately succumbing to degenerative illness. What happened?
