I came to your country on the day it was supposed to be legalized but then they changed their minds.

luckily, sitting on a beach with mirrar and alisonmonster ao gave me plenty opportunities to still enjoy the herb.

i chose the bag 'o alcohol instead though.

I don't smoke because I'm too anxious already and I don't like the way it makes me feel, but I'm really glad for all of my fellow Canucks who do.

it has the same effect on me. makes me super anxious, which is apparently the opposite from what it should do

yeah that's a big reason why i stopped. this summer when i relapsed, 80% of my highs were awful. anxiety, paranoia, self-loathing... :(

today is 66 days clean for me.

happens to a lot of chronic (lulz) smokers. myself included

it sucks. i love getting stoned, listening to music, and falling asleep. but it needed to stop so i guess it's for the best.

so many people I know smoke a lot just kind of keep on smoking and enjoying it.

on the other hand, for someone I know the effect simply stopped .it doesn't make him anxious but it does nothing for him anymore

it never felt bad for me, but i can't be high anymore. but i'm super thrilled about this because pot shouldn't be illegal.

I believe that if weed makes you paranoid, you may not be smoking the right strain for you. You may know that there are two main strains, sativa and indica, one which affects how you physically feel, the other affects how you mentally and emotionally feel. I forget which is which but basically if you want to smoke weed then you need to do a little research on the difference between the two and then come off as a picky bitch to your dealer when you ask if you can get the kind of weed you want.

this can be true, but reprise is right, a lot of long-time smokers have the experience turn around on them after awhile. 28if and I used to blaze so many trees but now he gets mad anxious

I don't hate legal weed, but I hate dispensary culture. I don't hate beer or wine, but hate beer or wine culture, so I guess it's not that odd.

My comment wasn't meant as "how dare you use this word", but rather an attempt to point to the fact that sexism is very much tolerated on here, not just on the sp section with daily "no talent, but nice titties" lines. So to me it's pretty funny to clap ourselves on the back and pretend we are all that and oh so progressive that sexism isn't tolerated. It is tolerated.

in my experience across several states, pot shops hire the most cringey of the pot heads. kind of like the people who usually get hired in vape shops or Hot Topics, etc. because a regular person couldn't scan the jar of weed, i guess. it had to be an old hippie woman, a borderline homeless (and proud) dude in his 30s, a white person with dreads, or the "chill" female 20 something. i think maybe i just hate stores, cause i also feel that way in the Dollar Tree. but i like weed more than off brand paper goods, so i had more exposure to those fine salespeople. meh

Anything I had to deal with in a dispensary, however, was infinitely better than putting up with a dealer's bullshit

I stopped burning weed this summer b/c like one microhit made me feel bad (depressed/dumb/self-conscious) for a week. Did some research on vapes b/c wasn’t ready to abandon the things i used to get from this hobby. Turns out vaping at different temperatures releases different of the psychoactive compounds. Now i’m vaping a couple nights a week at 185 C and i get very little paranoia, very little hangover or depression the next day. Using a portable pocket vape i just dump the raw bud into, can do it in the house even, very clean, not too stinky, nice and quick/discreet. Would recommend to anyone who’s having trouble with the burnt stuf and wish to explore other option
