They released several Mario lines over the years. The most recent ones are much better made than what fuzz posted.

We had a mega drive so we were a Sonic household, don’t know if they ever had Sonic happy meals but I think probably not.

Ha! That tails toy looks alright, but the others look like shitty roll-around duds.

I was a Sega/Sonic kid too. We even had a Sega Saturn when everyone else on the planet had PS1/N64.

Kind of explains why I turned out the way I did.

While you're right, and those are cool toys, they didn't have nearly as much of an impact as this promo did.

In 1990, Mario Brothers toys were surprisingly far and few between. Nintendo for some reason didn't really capitalize on that market. Before the happy meal, Nintendo released toys like this



So for Nintendo obsessed kids to get cool Mario toys like those was a big deal!
