A telescope would be a great idea eventually! Honestly I prefer to be in the dark. The cold will be tough though.

want to make sure i have this part right though -- your closest friend lives there, and you're moving there, but you're not telling this friend you're moving there? i realize it's a massive state -- how far away from your closest friend will you be? i'm picturing you bumping into eachother at the one gas station in the small town where you both live on your first week there and being like.. "oh, hey there closest friend! you live here too? oh that's right, i guess forgot you already live here; i just moved here myself. wow that's really funny.."

Haha you're fine. No. He lives in Michigan now with his bf. We still talk fairly often. No animosity between us. Wouldn't have any problem if he wanted to visit me in Alaska. Would be pretty cool actually. I met N a couple of years ago on Grindr and stayed in touch after he moved and we're just really close.

He moved back last month, lived in my room, hated it here, and moved to Alaska. Gave me the courage to do it too. Been telling my coworkers for months that sometimes I just want to run away but if he can do it, why cant I?

i'd consider moving but i still need therapy and i won't start over with a new therapist. also, i think south florida isn't as bad as where you were in central. but i could be wrong

I'm bias at this point but everything about Florida and the south is just goddamn awful.

I submitted my resignation today two months ahead of time. They cant fire me. Understaffed and they have me working on something important. Really wanted to put the nail on the coffin on this.
