Holy F the holidays r back, my head is burstin with the tidings, the cheer of peace on earth that it is my duty to create and protect while keeping the usual wolverines (sickness, madness, financial ruin) under the big soft couch of denial

How do we deal with our holiday stress

Or

Why do we think we need to "deal" with it or do something about it why can't i just allow myself to feel this stress instead of being ashamed b/c "a better person" wouldn't let it get to theirselves

I like the holidays, it's my favorite time of the year.

The only thing i'm bummed about is having to spend it away from my gf.

I keep feeling ragey. like, I haven't worked out in a month, that makes me ragey. my workout clothes are too tight for comfort, that makes me ragey. I keep eating bread and getting all bloated, that makes me ragey.

Christmas is just a kind of rage induction I don't need right now

But I do welcome the excuse to drink more than usual and not get up and clean up after my ungrateful family because "it's the holidays"

basically the secret is to have no friends or family and celebrate Christmas alone

my stress level is high but not because of holidays. the winter weather really bums me out. i like to stay indoors until spring.

my workout clothes also do not fit and there's nothing in this world i despise more than uncomfortably tight clothes. being chubby and naked is much nicer.

i'm only sad because i want to smoke pot but won't. I SAID I WON'T, OKAY???
