This movie he directed with him and Mathew Mcconaughey is one of the best thrillers ever.

Lest we forget.

He recently had a big part in the Jake Gyllenhall movie Nightcrawler which is an incredible film. Very overlooked. Should have recieved many Oscar nominations.

I've been meaning to watch that because I hear it's good, but they took it off Netflix before I got around to selecting it.

Favorite Bill Paxton role (for the record, haven't seen Nightcrawler or a minute of Big Love) was Sergeant Farrell in Edge of Tomorrow.

Nightcrawler was a seriously good movie.

You're overselling it a bit. The movie was good, but not one of the best of its kind, not even by a long-shot.

I liked Bill in a lot of movies, but I think my favorite role of his was Near Dark. He totally made that movie for me.

Runner-up would be the sleazy used-car salesman with the tiny dick in True Lies.
