which are best for sex?

Disco King 01-30-2017 08:15 PM

That question isn't so much about Plantae than it is about Animalia.

Instead, you should be asking which animals are most conducive to plants getting it on.

I guess if it's your thing, fermented fruit or grains (fruits of grasses) could loosen you up a little. I would pair that with some fermented and processed Theobroma cacao paste on the fruits of Fragaria.

Many. Too numerous to list. Plants exploit animals for their sexual reproductive means.

redbreegull 01-30-2017 09:13 PM

the global exploitation of animals by plants for sex is real

wake up sheeple

bon, i was writing a song the other day and the strange kind of melody i came up with made me think of a beautiful enchanted garden and poison ivys and winding vines.

i was considering pm'ing you to ask for help with realizing those lyrics but i didn't even know what i would be asking so i didn't. but your name did flash my thoughts.

it's like 95% done now, i just need to hone in on some final phrasings.

vixnix 01-30-2017 10:39 PM

you know what, if it's not too much trouble, i'd love it if you could throw around some beautiful sounding phrases that involve plants. climbing plants, ivys, vines, whatever comes to your mind. inspire me.

Weeds that are edible. Or with proper siting and soil amendment, possibly anything. "Australia" too broad a country answer sufficiently

hey bonnie in Israel I used to walk around and eat this edible weed all day long that grew everywhere. agriculture was one thing I worked on during my volunteer time and the guy I reported to told me about it. I can't even recall the Hebrew name but he said it's like one of the healthiest plants you can consume and that it grows all over the world. Round/ovular leaves, wider near the end than near the stem... the stems were sometimes red. I haven't seen any around here in MD. any idea what I'm thinking of?

teh b0lly!!1 01-30-2017 11:23 PM

For a long time, I thought the line was "into the widening gyre," a Yeats reference. I mean, it makes more sense. "Into the widening gyre, the pretty boys dive." It seemed to be an illustration of reckless self-destruction. But also having the plural "boys," instead of saying "the pretty boy dives" gives it a choreographed feeling, like they are synchronized swimmers or something. Ordered destruction, like dominoes falling.

"Winding vines" is also a pretty phrase in itself because of the assonance, and also provides a pretty visual, but "widening gyre" both makes more sense and provides a visual that fits the song's Gothic tapestry better, IMO. It's like, I see these lithe, graceful, shadowed figures diving into the wine-dark blue of the Charybdis.

At least it wasn't as disappointing as finding out that what I thought was "oh, green eyes, to these must I lie?" was "open your eyes to these mustard lies."

Disco King 01-30-2017 11:32 PM

also bonnie do you sell weed

FoolofaTook 01-30-2017 11:37 PM

vixnix 01-30-2017 11:43 PM

Purslane?

Bonnie introduced me to purslane while she was here. We had a few purslane salads. Pretty tasty. Well...pleasantly tasteless, maybe.

fuzzyroes 01-30-2017 11:56 PM

I bought a venus fly trap once as a little boy thinking it would be all dope, but it was lame. I thought it would be all Mario Brothers and shit

teh b0lly!!1 01-30-2017 11:58 PM

bonnie,

sometimes i spiral into thoughts about how trees and plants may also be sentient, just in a different way than organisms like humans, or other animals. when i look at a leaf i see a complex neural network just as remarkable as the veins and blood vessels in my hand. only that plants can't make a sound or scream or wither when they're harmed, so nobody even knows.

do you think plants feel, register pain, or are sentient/'alive' in any way?

redbreegull 01-31-2017 12:55 AM

BBC – Plants talk to each other through an internet of fungus

life is fucking crazy

Crunchy water is good to me. Although it's sourer when harvestd in the morning. This is a really beneficial weed from an agriculture standpoint. Also getting those omegas and aha/ala without killing a fish. Eaten by many civilizations thruout time.

Why is it lame exactly? Because appreciation would require some kind of background knowledge or even spirituality? Carnivorous plants live in extremely low nutrient (especially N) habitats. Such as bogs or fens but not always. I have great appreciation for these very unique plants.
