They were on a downward trajectory for sure. Californication was awesome, and they kinda kept slipping after the return to form.

I still think Stadium Arcadium could have been a great album if they just whittled it down to about 14 songs. Especially in Michigan and Make You Feel Better are right up there for 2 of my fave RHCP songs.
