i just don't believe those guys, you feeling me

Arcade Fire is the monarch of all 2000s indie hipster bands. I don't know if I would say their music is especially "honest" or "genuine," it's definitely affected. Think of it like going to a show or the circus or something. They are amazing at what they do.

I did also get into them when I was like 19 though, who knows if I would love them as much if I were discovering them now

Gladly

this is something way doper than that National shit

The Refused from Secondrate Rejects on Myspace.

FlamingGlobes 01-05-2017 12:12 AM

Oh shit, fuzzy's a founding member of Refused!

FlamingGlobes 01-05-2017 12:13 AM

fuzzyroes 01-05-2017 12:13 AM

He wasn't as cute as D'arcy in her heyday, though.

reprise85 01-05-2017 12:16 AM

lol he linked to myspace

for real that wasn't as terrible as i was expecting. it was still terrible though

i'm at the 'fuck the police, father forgive them they know what they do... the atomic age something disgrace'

crabshack 01-05-2017 12:17 AM

Have you guys seen those Refused - the shape of Trump to come shirts? I hope Trots owns one.

reprise85 01-05-2017 12:17 AM

pave, the killers are good but nowhere near great, i wouldn't worry about it honestly

not even close, 10 times less cute, but ten times the better player.

I was kidding, I know it's not for me.
I listened to 2 entire The Killers albums after Mark Stoermer graced the after party with some noodling (that noodling was fantastic.)
I don't dislike it, but apparently nothing stuck enough for me to ever listen to them again let alone get an album.

...really, they're kinda like OG Pumpkins in that way.

And there's nothing wrong with that. 19 year olds need iconic music too. Then again, I still enjoy that shit into my 30s.

In the last three pages, various plebes have insulted Sprinsgteen, Killers, Arcade Fire, and The National.

crabshack 01-05-2017 12:25 AM

You're washed-up, bro.

lolol I guess this is like when he was wrong about shrink wrap and posted a picture of a shrink wrapped album from ebay implying it was his

crabshack 01-05-2017 12:26 AM

Also it's not cool anymore to look down on people that you don't know. Especially not to talk down to them. You don't know who they are or where they came from. It's very unsensitive for you to do that in 2017 with Trump as our President. Just sayin.

thank you. Yeah it wasn't mixed properly and hearing it now there's a ton of shit I would have changed, but it's still cool that I got to document some songwriting when I was super into it.

I'm still super into it but too lazy to record shit anymore.

redbreegull 01-05-2017 12:30 AM

when I was in like 10th grade I knew this guy who I guess had a lot of problems but at 15 my focus was only that he was extremely annoying and more full of shit than anyone I had ever met

to impress some girl he gave her a copy of MY BAND's demo and told her he wrote our songs for us. Me and 28if had it out with him and he was like yeah my bad sorry I didn't think you would find out but I DO actually write music I just haven't recorded in a long time. I was like yeah ok, show me your old stuff. Next day he brings me a CDR. on the bus home I pop it into my discman and it's a Linkin Park album

I didn't "imply" it was mine you ignoramus. I simply took 25 seconds to prove a point and quickly searched an album on ebay to prove that you're wrong so you'd stop flapping your gums like the imbecile you've so often proven to be.

You're such a little twit. Why are you telling this story in the context of our conversation?

And who's this 28IF person you're always blabbering on about?

You sound like a casual idiot
