Starla are you OK? You seem... different. Are you just agitated?

I mean I mostly agree in spirit that we need to just deal with it but I don't think some protesting is uncalled for. I have some minority friends that I am more worried for. And my college is more than 50% minority.

Ihaguitar 11-11-2016 06:29 PM

I like how the liberals are getting violent. Showing their true colours.

Elphenor 11-11-2016 06:42 PM

Majority of protesters are entirely peaceful as always I swear some of you are 150 years old

How can you make kids and still believe this kind of thing? When will the immature mindsets die out?

What immature mindset? Violence solves nothing.

Elphenor 11-11-2016 06:48 PM

Sound like my retired uncle who spends 6 hours a day shitting his pants in front of Fox News

Elphenor 11-11-2016 06:52 PM

When I last called my parents they're scared as hell that black people are going to drag them out of their car and curb stomp them

I'm like when is the last time you even saw a black person

Honestly, since Trump won he seems like a different person, dont you think? He was acting. He knew that americans love a good actor.

Elphenor 11-11-2016 07:03 PM

Have you heard his agenda

Yes. It will change. I'm sure it wont be as bad as you think. Your sphincters are twitching, it's all a bit lol really.

reprise85 11-11-2016 08:56 PM

Some people are genuinely afraid they will be persecuted.

Elphenor 11-11-2016 09:08 PM

There is a whole lot to be genuinely afraid of but sure overreacting to the point where you can't enjoy life is like you're already letting the dude mess with you

It'll be a couple years before anything serious starts to affect people

Again provided he doesn't nuke anything

Elphenor 11-11-2016 09:13 PM

I think that enough public outcry maybe will make republicans in Congress hesitate to go along with anything out of the norm of regular conservative garbage but who knows

protests would have to get much larger to where republicans fear for their political careers but 2018 looks just dandy for them as of right now

I see Trump going down in history as the most hated president of all time in any case

Elphenor 11-11-2016 09:25 PM

Some think he's going to do ridiculous obviously illegal things because he's stupid and they'll impeach him for Mike Pence

I'm doubting they want that kind of backlash

reprise85 11-11-2016 09:33 PM

that's like house of cards material. get trump elected b/c we really want ultraright christian mike pence to be the actual prez but he wouldn't have gotten elected himself. seems plausible actually. though the whole election was crazy so maybe pence would have organically done better than trump did.

fuzzyroes 11-11-2016 09:53 PM

Aside from Pences religious views, he seems like a perfectly sensible guy.

duovamp 11-11-2016 10:02 PM

Trump looks scared shitless and completely miserable.

Thanks for this

Yes I recommend the video of trumph and obama after their mtg

Trumph trying so hard not to betray his utter terror

duovamp 11-11-2016 10:40 PM

He actually has the thousand yard stare on his face. Like he's more terrified of his presidency than we are.

He was a 70-year-old semi-retired millionaire. And how he has the most stressful job in the country, and has ZERO experience holding public office. I can't imagine how scared he must be. He's gripping Melania's hand for security in that one pic and it's kind of sweet.

Day 1: Mexico doubles down on not paying for wall
Day 2: Removes future Muslim ban from his platform
Day 3: Says he may keep the 2 best parts of Obamacare

redbreegull 11-11-2016 11:56 PM

lol I love it

guy was alone with Obama for 90 minutes and is rolling back his campaign promises before he even takes the oath. Nigel Farage taught him well.

He doesn't look composed. He looks like he has to go back to college for another semester.

redbreegull 11-12-2016 12:02 AM

you know maybe the relationship between Trump and the GOP just won't improve and we won't even have to fight them that hard cause they will be having their own war?

We should embrace any flip flopping. I don't want him to "fail", so to speak, out of spite. I do not want him to make good on his campaign promises. It's incredibly disturbing, to say the least, that he won based on all of that.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-12-2016 12:18 AM

Stay on your toes no matter what, though. History tends to repeat itself.

(I mean, partial fence.)

FlamingGlobes 11-12-2016 12:21 AM

Partial fence = Pence?

Shit, we're fucked, aren't we?

oh I'm 100% with you, I would never never never want things like a Muslim ban to happen just to say I told you so I mean that is crazy. I'm very happy that he is already walking back his extreme looniness, because even in terms of political expediency, this is all going to hurt him. A lot of his voters are going to be expressing regret and it isn't going to take very long when they realize he cannot and will not deliver on a lot of the stuff he said (Brexit)

having said that, he put these ideas into the air, he legitimized them, so he doesn't get a pass just for reversing course. He's emboldened a lot of dangerous people and done a lot of damage already.

Kahlo 11-12-2016 07:28 AM

I hope he just remakes Pink Floyd's The Wall movie. Good compromise.

And now, Jonathan Pie:
