"In the 2016 election, a wide gap in presidential preferences emerged between those with and without a college degree. College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point margin (52%-43%), while those without a college degree backed Trump 52%-44%. This is by far the widest gap in support among college graduates and non-college graduates in exit polls dating back to 1980. "

Netphoria is not a good place to poll for this kind of thing and also we don't decide the election. Many people that have posted about the election don't even live in the US.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 03:59 PM

Hey Poots. Either get back to work or drop the jaded political pundit troll Nimrod's son schtick ok? This alluding to things is a poor way to conversate.

They also backed McCain and Romney. So they aren't what made Trump win.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 04:04 PM

I didnt say they were. But it's still a large percentage when people are saying Trump is a stupid mentalist.

Generalizations about the states that take the most federal money? Because they do and also tend to vote red. Since federal aid and republicanism don't go hand and hand, how do you reconcile that fact?

Also you're welcome

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 04:24 PM

I said it. Don't dodge the question.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 04:26 PM

Why do red states take the most federal aid?

duovamp 11-15-2016 04:35 PM

It's complex.

I can imagine.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 06:43 PM

If you thought I was implying racism then I am sorry to say. If anything I was implying ignorance. I think a big part of it could be that the more conservative states have conservative leaders and administators that due to some ignorance, institute policies that are more ideological than pragmatic. Example: Mike Pence and needles.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 06:45 PM

Actually I can't tell is Nimrod's son is being truthful or facetious but it doesnt matter at this point. Racism permeates our daily lives, unfortunately.

crabshack 11-15-2016 07:05 PM

I can't understand how people can vote strictly by color. As if all people wearing blue represents one thing and red stands for another. That's fundamental racism.

Elphenor 11-15-2016 07:13 PM

I find that people who don't belong to either party and don't understand the red, blue thing are the type of people who supported Bernie Sanders and then voted Trump over Hillary

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 07:33 PM

I get that theyre both "anti establishment" but how are Bernie and Trump similar at all?

That's a good place to be. You're ripe for enlightenment. I had a Prof in college go on about Pappy Bush being a drug smuggler while chief of the C.I.A. I figured if that were true, we would know about it; you know, that the press would report such a thing. lol. I was in disbelief at the time, but the comment stirred me and never left really...a full decade later, I realized he was right all along.

redbreegull 11-15-2016 10:12 PM

bernie sanders and hillary clinton voted the same way 90% of the time during their concurrent Senate tenures
