I can't wait for the riots to get worse. Trump will bring law and order. Those fema camps will soon be put to use.

hi, starla. i got your msg and it is not obvious you are MOCKING idiots who voted for trump when you say things like:
Quote:

I hope you're an illegal immigrant so Trump loads you up on a bus and takes your ass to the border.
i figured you might get that.

It's one thing to win. Now do a good job, Donald.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 02:34 PM

Is anyone really suprised that all the states that recieve the most federal aid (something decidely not red) vote red? Although most of it goes to Medicaid and other essential and productive programs, so I'd never advocate taking it away from them. This is probably because the climate of the state is so poor, as well as the opportunities available to people. But it would be nice if these states put their money where their mouth/voting power lied.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 02:37 PM

It's not just a state by state problem but a nationwide problem though. What makes a state like
MS always vote red but take nearly double the federal aid that NJ does with a third of the population? Get it together MS

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 02:41 PM

I'm extremely out of touch because I live in a liberal part of NJ and also work in Manhattan/pay taxes to NY state

Elphenor 11-15-2016 02:52 PM

Republicans are stoopid

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 03:08 PM

How does that make any sense? I doubt these people even realize how little they contribute and how much they take. Stop buying guns and buy some fruit. /s

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 03:09 PM

Hey Poots. Get a job. Or if you're at it, stop posting from your job and actually do it.

You could probably find some evidence that red voters are not generally as educated, but this isn't an always the individual/group's fault, unless it is willful ignorance. Many, many wealthy and generally educated and priveleged people are (fiscal) conservatives yet vote republican because they're greedy.

I don't want to make "democrat" one of my adjectives, because I don't fully identify with that party- but I identify more so with it than the other one.

Elphenor 11-15-2016 03:34 PM

Well we already know that at least in the United States there's a direct correlation between education level and your political beliefs and I believe it to be largely for the same reason that even in deeply red states areas with large population tend to lean blue

basically there is a large percentage of the population who has never really been exposed to culture or ideas outside of the ones they were born into

those that get this exposure will end up as liberals generally speaking

Elphenor 11-15-2016 03:45 PM

educated ones do to so it's just not worth pointing out unless you're trying to justify racism again

Elphenor 11-15-2016 03:48 PM

This was a pretty good read a bit related

Not trying to speak for minorities but generally the democrats have had more of their interests in mind (as in, not taking away their rights) so therefore uneducated and educated alike tend to vote for democrats. It's very logical.

I think I mentioned this. Richer folk that do not like to pay taxes tend to vote red. They also live in little bubbles within their McMansions. I don't think anyone is doing any dehumanizing here, but if that is what is on your mind then feel free to share it.

ohnoitsbonnie 11-15-2016 03:53 PM

And then there were those kids in a pickup truck bed with a flag-painted horse (it was around the 4th) with the Trump sticker on bumper that I saw in NC this summer. They are definitely living up to a stereotype.
