Christmas is a distraction
Consumerism is not a holiday
Let's expose its putrefaction
And sow the earth with malaise
Hail Satan

Yes Halloween came but we were too tired this year
To carve pumpkins, dress up, or court playful fears
Of the fanciful kind. Too full of the real
As the culture nosedives midst the strident false spiels

Halloween is over
and you're so stupid
so just shut up
you giant turkey.

Yeah. Mine sucks. Will try harder next time

halloween is orange
thanksgiving is brown
christmas is red
new years is pink
this poem has no point im just listing colors

halloween monday
and christmas music tuesday

i had written it on someone's facebook status all proud and i fucked it up :(

the time of year has come once more to carve pumpkins again
lord knows i'm not yet ready for this most ungrateful sin
i blame bill, i blame bill.
thorazine - reflect my will!
kids will go on trick or treating, and i am now an old man
get off my lawn, boys, or i will execute my plan.

kitties kitties kitties!
so many kitty heads
so many kitty paws
so many kitty butts
they go to the chimney to meet santa claus
the do not stop or pause
they do not linger, but do extend their claws
and rip his fucking head off
as santa's blood drips all over the carpet
thanks for the new iphone, i love it

holidays and gifts
family and loved ones near
when will death arrive

Pour another drink my dear,
Christmastime and no-one's here.

Just you and me, the kids, the pets.
The trampoline, the safety nets.

You give me sweets, I give you socks.
We dream of turning back the clocks.

We grow more ugly, every year.
Pour another drink, my dear.
