one of my teachers at the audio engineering school was this really ace local engineer who made lots of great records, and he was always a super heavy smoker. when he was teaching us he tried to come off it, and started using those e-cigs. he would just puff away on them at all times, even during class. i guess it's preferable to flat out smoking.

last year i stopped smoking altogether, after a good decade of being a (generally light) smoker.

i just didn't feel like it anymore.

now i easily go weeks\months at a time without even thinking about smoking, and even when i am occasionally tempted to smoke one with a friend, i don't enjoy it and put it out very quickly.

i wish it happened sooner though.

The term e-cig is beyond dumb.

I also hate the vaping culture around it, just search for vape reviews on youtube and you'll see.

I think I could quit if I had something to do with my hands. Laptops are good. I'm a very fidgety person and smoking eases it a bit. I also cannot focus during a nic fit, my eyes keep glazing over. And I'm quick to get upset, obviously. I have too much stress to quit now, maybe after I move. I bet cigs are way more than $5 a pack in Washington.

They're not expensive because of the economy but to all but force people to stop. Washington state is a very naturey, clean area. Alabama smells like cows so they don't care as much here.

Yeah I understand. My fuse completely disappears and I either cry or rage out almost instantly. I'm not angry by nature either, well never outwardly that is.

I used to fucking despise e-cigs and vaping in general, and it's still kind of stupid, but then I worked with a bunch of big-ass movers who switched from smoking to vaping for obvious reasons
