Watching Stranger Things...

They nailed 1983. The first scene with the 4 kids playing D&D was like watching myself in 1983.

That is freaking me out more than the creepy vibe of the show.



The only other thing that comes this close is Freaks and Geeks. Which had the look and feel of my High School.

i just finished season 2 of Marco Polo. Which is an historical disaster, but relatively entertaining. It's interesting that so many content providers are trying to cash in on Game of Thrones but none are succeeding

I started The West Wing recently. Boy does this show have ups and downs. Some episodes are just so insignificant. But the characters are all great. CJ and Josh are my favs

Somebody tried to get me to watch the US version of Shameless. The pilot episode was terrible.

Bob's Burgers and X-Files. And now Stranger Things.

we recently finished Jessica Jones, really good and dark as fuck, really disturbing at parts.

just jumped into Daredevil season 2 and it's great, Punisher is hardcore.

Obviously anyone who hasn't seen Master of None needs to rectify that immediately

Serious question: Is the new Full house on yet? I'm entirely convinced it's gonna be a shit show, but for an 86 baby, the original show was an important part of my formative years. Who the fuck is still paying for cable? I mean if you're on a budget and can't afford anything else, you're just flushing money down the toilet. Ditch the cable, get Netflix & Hulu and you're pretty much set. Just download the rest.

i have basic cable only because it was cheaper in a bundle than getting only internet. but i don't even have the cable service plugged into my tv

As turalyon mentioned, the news sites are great too. I'm a politics nut and while you can read a ton online, you don't get all of the breaking interviews till after the fact on shitty streaming youtube like a scoundrel.

Can't bring myself to start Stranger Things, I think I watched the trailer and it spelled everything out and I thought well, no point watching now.

Oh! And I just started a new detective series, can't remember the name though. It begins with M. Looks promising, went to bed after half of the pilot last night though.
