I disagree. I think everyone learned something in this thread, and the disagreements were, for the most part, remarkably reasonable and well-stated.

I don't think this "welcome to netphoria, everything here is shit" attitude is justified. I feel many threads get better as they go along. And I also happen to like the surreal and good-naturedly mean-spirited way many of the lesser threads sputter out.

This is really a great forum. I really can't understand why so many have chosen to abandon it recently. Where the fuck else can you find such depth of pumpkins related knowledge? More importantly, where else can we be real and support each other over how much it hurts to watch bill over the last decade or so?
