The world can't sustain them, there's not a good enough supply of self-help books and yoga instructors for this. The poor don't know how good they have it, when you're fighting your neighbor for a piece of bread, you don't have time to reflect on the pointlessness of your existence and invent yourself problems. we should be so lucky..... Happiness is a half-eaten sandwich you found in the trash.

Plus if we made them all middle class they would get bored with their self-help books and yoga and invent things that don't really exist to fight against, like "racism" or "windmills" or some shit, whatever popped into their heads first

yea and all that is nice as long as it keeps people occupied and off the streets, but if everyone is middle class, who needs this kind of hobby?

Keep in mind that the increased demand for horse riding lessons would likely drive up their price, quite possibly pushing such equestrian pursuits up the chain and into the realms of a less accessible upper class lifestyle.
