we have no future
how do i deal
We never did have futures
ugh, how is that different than what i just said?
be a giant careless tool and enjoy what's left
I am predicting that, in the future, I will say something vaguely motivational and optimistic like "make your own future," to demonstrate one's ability to ensure one's own future.
Make your own future.
^See? I just did it. |
Make your own failure
this is agony
no fate but what we make.
oh pain, oh agony

life sucks what am i supposed to make of it, a mountain of shit?
I don't think it's possible to truly "live in the moment" and not be at all future oriented. What one anticipates in the future is a factor of what one does in the present.
Well, one could be unconcerned about the future, but that's a good way to end up on the street or something. |

It'll never be all ok. But there's a little good. And don't martyr yourself because it's weird |
how can i make the best of being entirely miserable
my nice little pet will be gone soon |
As horrible as it sounds, you'll have more pets and more special bonds totally different from the last but still really special.
The only reason we get "new" pets is because they die. It's nothing like why we get "new" humans in our lives.
write a book. it's cathartic and almost makes things feel meaningful.
talk to more people on the other side of the world for both a new and universal perspective. i find that comforting
People everywhere are terrible forever
but it's like one big terrible family. i like it.
Time doesn't exist
neither do we
when do youguys expect game changing catastrophe, i say 2025 at the latest. i figure enconomic collapse. meteor strike is possible for sure. i figure at some point we'll find out we're past the point of no return with the environment and most everyone will all be dead by 2100. i figure my "retirement" years will be spent sqatting in abandoned buildings and scaveging for food while i die from something i dont even know i have
children born now will witness the rapid decline of the biosphere, and likely a mass dying of humanity.
congratulations! |
i think I will be able to retire and enjoy my death before the worst of it occurs. If I'm lucky i'm in the last generation before billions of people starve and die due to climate change.
also, i have a pension and a 401k so i prolly won't retire in poverty. so I have that going for me |
Life is what you put into it!!!
