i just think it's weird when someone goes have you SEEN watchmen??? because i just feel like revisiting the same genre in movie form is not the most incredible experience and killtrocity is right but i do really like avengers and think the sequel will also be a lot of fun

is it okay if i watch avengers going in blind? my friend says i should because its so badass omg... but i;ve only seen ironman 1. is there anything i should see before like craptain america and if so is it worth the effort?

Well the plot is linked but the truth is Thor is awful and Captain America is alright but meh. Its like it helps a little but I'd say they are only necessary for people who don't know shit about those characters and their stories. Anyone who knows the characters a and their basic story doesn't need to see all the films leading up to Avengers. I also don't think avengers was as awesome as everyone made it out to be.

i'm annoyed they're not making any more hulk films. I mean...it's like oh we tried twice, that didn't work too well. and i don't get people too. they like the idea of hulk on paper but make a film and they're like well it's not what i wanted to see. Turns out all they really want is minimal Banner screen time and hulk smashing really powerful supervillains.

Maybe it's cause the hulk stories will always be a little dour. Hulk wont' be cracking jokes, and generally, neither will Banner. Maybe what they want is a creepily overly nice Banner and a Hulk that helps the downtrodden, children, alcoholics or mentally challenged like in the series.

My guess is that Age of Ultron winds up being the Empire Strikes Back of Marvel films, since the real follow up will be the Civil War film.

I love the guy and would watch him in anything but Strange? I think it would be wrong. Not the wrongest but wrong still. Isn't it still just rumors?

I think civil war should have been much further down the line, when they've made a lot more movies. So that they can throw as many chraacters into it as psosible. OR it could be likw the comics and span several films. Iron Man Civil War, Captain America Civil War, and so on.

Its such a shame sony still owns Spiderman and Fox X-men. You can't really be doign marvel universe without either.

looks like Civil War will be the transition point that leads to Infinity Wars. If they keep making Avengers with the same cast some of the actors are going to age out of their roles. Banner and Stark can pull off middle age, but Steve Rogers isn't supposed to look like he's 40 years old.

My guess is that by transitioning away from Ironman and Cap centric films they'll also be at the point after 2018 where they can begin to think about rebooting those characters.

the general view of studios seems to be that standalone female superhero films dont' draw people. i'm not sure where they got that...from elektra? I mean...wow this is the only one since like...supergirl isn't it? If there's others right now i'm drawing a blank. shit.

Well we tried women superhero films twice in the past 40 years and they failed both times so clearly it doesn't work!

Sure both were pieces of shit with awful scripts we didn't really give a shit about making...but you know... they failed!
