Hey now, Elhpy is Trotskies protege. It's a mentor/student type of relationship... Nothing wrong with that.
|
I, in fact, have never commented on the wrongness of it and have only commented with albeit rather scathing affection
Trotsky has accused me of the hatecrush, first I will defend my honour with words. Then we shall summon the witnesses and put one of us to death. It is the only way |

A good days work has a lot of value for the human mind/soul

It's the reason why old people retire and then get alzheimer's within 5-10 years.
The brain is meant to be challenged and focused on a regular basis. If you're just sitting around doing nothing your brain will rot. That's why it's good to be an old fuck and still working or at least still creating art and living life at a consistent level. |

This is part of the problem with this forum. |
The working world is becoming more and more mechanised tho
|
How come you never hear poor people that work their face off say that a hard day's work is good for the mind/soul?
|
Because the people that say that are actually the one's that never worked hard ever

You see these people on welfare and what not and most of them aren't in a very good emotional state. Even people that win the lottery and coast on that have been shown to have a greater risk at having psychiatric problems. |
Definitely spending most of my adult life not working (making a living but not working per se) i think has really fucked me up and fucked up any chance at ever having any kind of fairly normal life.
