it's totally legal to publish harassing emails and letters that you are not bound by anything to disclose or not. just post here what you're being harassed with. they can't sue you for that either.

yes kind of like recording phone calls. it's illegal unless you have permission from one party but more than likely you are the one party.

someone sending an email that says you cannot disclose something is not a binding contract that you will not disclose what you are being sent. if you're getting cease and desist letters, then cease and desist whatever it is they're claiming you're doing. if you're not doing what they're claiming you're doing then don't do anything. legal threats are essentially cat farts too.

I don't want to go into all the details at the moment but I promise if the site is forced to shut down then I will go into detail about everything.

Yes I realize lawyers are full of bluster and BS when it comes to threatening people.

I just don't have the money or power to defend myself even though I know I have done nothing wrong. I have always acted in good faith and have correspondence to show it, all of my actions show the opposite of what they are accusing me of. I think they are trying to bully me into closing the site.

Too be honest I don't need the trouble, stress or anxiety, I already have enough of that in my life. I am getting married in about a months time and don't need extra bullshit to worry about.

I've kept this site up all these years because fans and old time users still came here, although it's nowhere close to the glory days as long as people still visited here I didn't mind keep it up.

I just think it would be a shame if it had to totally go down, there is 14 years of history and content here, would be kind of sad to see it go.

i always thought that should've been done some time ago anyway, since it's not really a pumpkins board anymore per se, sort of like how amazon isn't really an online book store anymore
