I tried but the dude was like "No sorry man". The place they were playing wasn't as dive bar or whatever as I thought, so security was actually pretty professional.

Being 20 is rough. Like there is this venue right next to where I live that allows all ages and doesn't serve alcohol. But it's like going to see a show in a high school gymnasium. I'm an adult but I'm not legally recognized as one yet.

But there are some places that just put a huge X on both your hands in black permanent marker if you're underage. And some even make it a rule that you can't re-enter, adult or not. Which is dumb.

I would do this and I have done this, but I just didn't like going to a show with a bunch of 15 year olds moshing to the local emo band. The place actually made me feel old
