I was talking to this girl for multiple days in a row about music and stuff.
She loves The Smiths and Joy Division and stuff I like.
And she even took interest in the bands I mentioned that she didn't know and asked me to give her songs to listen to that she didn't know. And she actually listened to them and we talked about them.

And we are supposed to go see Pixies but I haven't heard from her in a few days.

I wasn't even hitting on her or anything.

But I say I shouldn't even own a phone because it's been all of three days.

People get sick of endlessly text messaging back and forth with the same person, and most females get multiple texts a day from multiple other females about matters that are more pressing than music preferences, like... Feelings that they're having about other people, their parents or other family members, friends, teachers. So your text message convo got bumped down the priority list but the good news for you is that females never forget and they can also multitask, so your conversation will be on her mind, if not at the forefront, and she will be considering the next point of contact between the two of you.

If you are not good looking or rich, and she is slim and attractive, she may never text you back.

I've had many correspondences with women I have met on okay cupid and even recently looking for roomates via craigslist in which women almost intolerably require more correspondence

I do this all time because I'm awful and distant. I even do it to my own mother.

Got a text asking what I'm doing tonight but when my phone bit it I lost all my contacts and don't know who this is. I feel like it might be this one dude so I might just not answer it.

Just respond with one word. Their response might clear things up.

In most cases I'd be like "Okay, doesn't want to talk to me that's fine."

But like the abrupt stop really doesn't make sense here.

She's probably busy with the celebrity nudes leak. Just give her time.

The only way to solve this is by texting her some more to show you really are interested.
