i've done some shitty stuff in my early-mid 20's while drunk, but it's entirely too embarrassing. goth bartender has nothing on some of my dumber stuff.

nowadays i can't really drink because 1) no real opportunities but mainly because i get acid reflux if i drink, so...:mad:

I have an infected root canal. :(. It's so painful. It's going to cost $1800 to treat. :(

$1800 is a lot of money. i think the best thing to do is to save up for a couple of months before you get the treatment. it'll teach you the value of money, and it'll make less of a dent in your savings, too.

I decided to be a grown up about it, swallowed my pride and asked for a payment plan. It's too painful to delay treatment. My health insurance will pay $534 (I only signed up with a private health fund this year, so I'm still outside the waiting period for major dental work), so the dentist has offered a deal where I pay half the balance up front and then the rest in 4 fortnightly instalments. But the $534 will come out of the initial payment. So it won't be too bad, thankfully.

I had a rude awakening with my father at a rental car company on friday where he flat out refused to let me use his credit card, told me I only call him when I want money, and hung up on me. It was so embarrassing. I had only called him because I hadn't been able to get hold of my husband, because, as usual, he had left his phone on his desk while he went off to a meeting. Which is great manners for meetings. But sucks for me. The rental place closed and I ended up catching a bus...it was horribly embarrassing.

I never have any money of my own and I really need to sort myself out, that way. Being 34 and never having more than $1000 in the bank, and not having a credit card of my own...is lame. :( way lamer than I thought it would be. :(
