I wish more bars had goats or horses just strolling through them.

Why? Thats not a place for a dog. Its one of those things thats such a.n obvious bid for attention too. Plus, if you end up getting shithammered and something bad happens...

Bringing your dog inside the bar, yeah that's definitely over the line. But if there's a patio thing, and your dog is well socialized and not being an annoying piece of shit, don't see how it's much different than walking your dog down the street next to a bar.

I'd do it if I had a small dog with excellent manners, knew the owner and bartenders, and were a very regular customer with whom other regulars were familiar and comfortable.

I know nobody and don't talk to anybody in a bar unless I'm properly slammajammed, and I own a cat that hates people, so I'm out.

Some bars advertise themselves as dog friendly. And I fucking love those. If it doesn't advertise as such, then yeah, no. Don't bring your dog.

Eulogy 08-23-2014 06:49 PM

And it's probably more appropriate during the day I guess.

I dunno I love dogs and can't have one so I want them to be everywhere.

A well-trained dog can be pretty much anywhere and it's fine
