not even 1 inning completed yet and this game is whack!!! Inside the park home run, Hatteburg then goes yard. Then he mis-judged that pop-up and looked silly silly silly.

Barry Zito has the best curveball since Sandy Koufax.

so Ellis runs into Hatteburg and makes him drop an easy pop-up. Holy Little League Batman!!! Zito then has a pitch slip out of his fingers and it goes 30 feet straight up into the air half-way to home plate. :eek:

Then Zito gets a strikeout to end the inning with the bases loaded.

this is par for the course with the A's...nervewracking games they play.

give the Twins credit for battling back. 56,000 screaming their guts out. Players can't communicate on the field. Pop-flys are adventures each time. Great stuff actually.

Twins scratch and claw off Zito to tie. Until Jermaine Dye just hit that bomb. 4th solo shot for the A's.
