oh yeah of course, I'm just pushing back against the peer pressure from a growing contingent of people my age who are now responsible adults when I have no interest in being that yet.

last night I was at my girlfriend's place. she lives in this big 200 year old house at a historic plantation site where she does archaeology. There were all these grizzly old metal detector guys over and her and her housemates and I made steaks and margaritas for everyone. then this north carolinian good old boy broke out a huge mason jar of corn and apple moonshine which he claimed was "130 proof." knocked us all on our asses. then we drank more margaritas, talked about the founding fathers and ghosts, and were regaled with the tale of some lady who came to stay there once and shit all over the house without realizing it.

/successful night

Everyone? I'm just wondering aloud.

I'm Hardcore 03-31-2014 07:11 PM

it's a very good question you ask

Trotskilicious 03-31-2014 08:22 PM

i think because most people tend to think they are not racist or prejudiced because they've basically been raised & taught that they are not even though they haven't actually challenged some of the more subversive elements of prejudice. it's like, i've never called anyone a nigger and i don't have any slaves so i am not racist, q.e.d.

Trotskilicious 03-31-2014 08:27 PM

also keep in mind that glittterlips is a person who thinks that subway cheese isn't processed cheese like substitute

I'm Hardcore 03-31-2014 09:20 PM

kraft singles are pretty nasty

wouldn't expect anything less from kraft, a food company formerly owned by a cigarette company.

i live off kraft and natural light and i ended up fine. im a pilot now

Trotskilicious 04-01-2014 02:15 AM

Lucky Day Spa 04-01-2014 03:09 AM

Lucky Day Spa 04-01-2014 03:12 AM

redbreegull 04-01-2014 04:09 AM

is subway cheese all glossy looking like kraft singles?

Trotskilicious 04-01-2014 04:40 AM

yes, tastes exactly the same too

i'd like to also point out that american cheese is on all of the fast food burgers

and also there's nothing really wrong with it

it just belongs on hamburgers

processed cheese slices nevertheless fall on a continuum of quality

Lucky Day Spa 04-01-2014 07:04 AM

about 12 years ago i worked at a mcdonald's. it was a horrible job but i remember the cheese slices being surprisingly good. my guess is they had a higher ratio of cheese to other shit than the standard kraft singles (or whatever the equally terrible equivalent is here)

Lucky Day Spa 04-01-2014 07:05 AM

you can also make your own melty weirdo-cheese http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives/...-american.html
