i don't feel bad about making fun of Florida because come on and WV because i have been there.
been to texas a bunch of times. driven all over the state. spent time in Houston, Austin, Dallas and a number of small towns.

I'm dissing the state for it's right wing politics. Which has been part of the State's identity since a few hundred rasicst white people stole the state from Mexico.

I'm not dissing Texas for it's good food, music and handful of cool places.

Although I'll argue with anybody that Carolina BBQ is superior to all

Orchid Thief is a great book also. You know, sprawling New Yorker type shit. I think it's really about Florida.
