Yeah man, they constipate you. I had IBS, so it actually improved that for me and it's actually stuck with me somehow. But for most people it could be dangerous (impacted bowels) and I also believe chronic constipation is a risk factor for rectal cancer (citation needed).

They were selling beer at the Pittsburgh Auto Show so today turned into the best day of the year.

I was taking it every day for ms pain because I didn't want to be on pain pills, and it started making my stomach lining bleed. Over a period of time, I'd feel more fatigued and weak, but I thought it was just the ms. Then one day I started feeling my heart beating in my chest really slowly and I couldn't catch my breath. I could hear my heart beat in my ears and it was getting louder, then I passed out. When I was taken to the hosp, they found that I needed a blood transfusion. After some tests they decided that the advil had been basically burning my stomach lining, and had caused a few ulcers too. What's bad is, I knew the warnings about it, but I didn't think it would happen to me, and the pain affected my ability to care at the time.

Spoken like a true painkiller addict. Tylenol is pretty bullshitty, but NSAIDs are really good at killing pain from a lot of things. Did more for me when I had a dry socket than Vicodin did. And you don't have to worry about the dangers of tylenol unless you take a lot of it. That's also a red flag that you're an addict - being "afraid of tylenol"

As soon as you tell an ER doc that 800mg of ibuprofen does nothing at all, they know you are full of shit (lying and/or mentally addicted to narcotics).

i mean, if you were at a 10 ibuprofen wouldn't take you down to a 9? for most people it would for everyday injuries/pain. not cancer pain or whatever, or if your leg gets chopped off.
