or is it something else like a digital on-screen version? Curious because I really want one but no place I've been to has one hooked up to play with.

Just noticed the picture I posted is a digital version. Didn't know that existed. I'm confused now.

to be exact i had the korg legacy collection.. it was $150 for a virtual version of all the analogue synths, plus an effects plugin for reverb, equalizing, ect. a usb key had to be plugged in to use because piracy .. and i broke it ;( ... i may be able to repair it but i doubt it.

korguser.net seems to sell each plugin seperately but i don't know if its digital download or not (hope its digital)

they have a limited edition midi keyboard that's basically an MS-20 replica.. i see that floating around for sell on the internets from time to time.. but i wouldn't shell out $200 for that personally

I'm debating getting the analog MS-20 instead of an Ipad. At 599 its about the same price and I could probably maybe find a sale or coupon somewhere.

i don't know if you know about it already and you just want to collect or whatever... but i'd just go ahead and get an MS2000... the modernized version of the MS line. i saw one on craigslist or $500 but i decided it'd be kind of redundant with all the korg software synths i have already, and i don't really have room for it.

i want analog modular so i can play with and make my own patches. tbh i don't have much synth experience or knowledge at all but the ms2000 appears to be hard wired and digital.

the ms-20 just looks like it would be the perfect starter package to me
